Applique
Using cut fabric in combination with embroidery to form a larger design with fewer stitches, or to add texture. Sometimes known as tackle twill.Permanent Twill
Similar to applique, but the fabric is attached to the garment with a permanent heat sealed adhesive. No stitches are used. Looks very similar to applique, but is less expensive and typically has faster turnaround times. Screen Printing
The use of ink to decorate a garment (or sometimes non-wearable items). Traditional screen printing uses plastic based inks and one screen for each color. Modern digital screen printing uses water based inks applied with a machine similar to an ink jet printer.Laser Engraving
Using high energy laser light to etch designs into acrylic, wood, certain metals, glass, leather, and other substances. Laser engraving is much more detailed than traditional engraving, but doesn't work on steel or other hard metals.
