Who we are
Convective has built digital products since 1998. Today that means custom AI systems: strategy, engineering, and the data work that decides whether an AI initiative becomes a competitive advantage or an expensive experiment. We are deliberately small, deeply experienced, and allergic to work that looks impressive in a deck but never reaches a user.
Senior by default
There is no junior tier doing the real work while a name partner takes the meeting. The person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. We hire people who can own an outcome end to end.
AI that ships, not AI that demos
We have shipped software since 1998, long before the current wave. That history is why our AI work reaches production instead of stalling in a proof of concept. We care about the unglamorous parts: data pipelines, evaluation, and the integration surface real systems need.

Practitioners who can take an LLM or model from a notebook to a monitored, evaluated, cost-aware service. Retrieval, agents, fine-tuning, and the evaluation harnesses that tell you whether any of it actually works.
Product design
Designers who treat accessibility and clarity as table stakes and can turn an ambiguous enterprise problem into an interface people trust. Comfortable working close to engineering rather than throwing mockups over a wall.
Delivery and project leadership

We hire for judgment and range over a checklist of frameworks. If you can point to things you have shipped and explain the decisions behind them, the specific job title matters far less to us.
