NativeScript Developer
Convective is seeking a senior Angular developer with proven NativeScript expertise to augment our project teams. The successful candidate will work on projects across a wide range of government and commercial clients. This is a remote contract opportunity.
Key requirements:
- Angular v6 and TypeScript experience
- Experience developing mobile applications with the NativeScript framework
- Experience with Unit Testing (Karma with Jasmine)
- Strong industry experience in architecture and development of scalable production quality systems
- Experience working in a Node environment
- Experience with source control (SVN / GIT) and bug tracking systems
- Experience working in an Agile development team
- Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledgeable about issues related to infrastructure and scalability
- Capable with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and JSON/XML
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and problem-solving capabilities
- Mobile application development experience is a plus (Android or iOS)
- Work and test with multiple browser versions (IE, FireFox, Safari, Chrome)
- Consulting experience in an agency environment
Additional consideration for:
- Expertise in the performance analysis and tuning of Angular and NativeScript applications
- Experience with CSS Flexbox and Material Design
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
